I love to go to the library and just browse.  While I live in a small town, and don't always find the new releases, I always come home with 3 or 4 new books to read.

Then, I have a tendency to have them scattered all over the house, both while I'm reading them, and when I'm done.  So when it's time to take the book backs, it can be a bit of a hunt.

I decided to make myself a library book bag to keep my books corralled and therefore give myself more free time to spend at the library.

If you are looking for a fun craft for the kids, or for your book club, this book bag craft is pretty quick and easy.

To make this book bag, you'll need

My Weekend is all Booked Free Printable (find at bottom of page)

Start by right clicking and saving the "My Weekend is all Booked" picture at the bottom of the page.  Print this picture full size onto a piece of Avery Fabric Transfer.  BE SURE TO PRINT IT BACKWARDS SO THE WRITING WILL COME OUT READABLE.

Using a warm iron, iron the "Booked" picture to the front of your blank book bag.  Allow the page to cool before removing.  (I was a little impatient and got a little extra peeling on my bag.)

Using your fabric markers, color the picture in.  Add your favorite books, and you're off to the library too!
