March 2016 Smugglers Bounty Subscription Box Review

Are you a Star Wars fan? Check out the Smugglers Bounty for some exclusive items to add t your Star Wars fandom collection.

I admit it, I am a HUGE fan of Star Wars.  I love the movies and for a while, I loved the books.  I think I own almost every one of them...up until Chewbacca died.  (Yes, in the books they killed of Chewy instead of Han.)  When that happened, I couldn't get over the way Han Solo handled his death.

I get it.  They were friends for years.  They were practically "parabati", if I can use Shadowhunter language.  But still, to take it out and blame your kids for his death.  That's wrong on so many levels.  I never finished the book, and I didn't pick up another one after.  Which from what I hear, was probably a good thing since it turns out they kill almost everyone off.

But I'm still a huge Star Wars fan.

So when I learned about the Smugglers Bounty subscription box, I knew I needed to give it a try.

Star Wars Smuggers Bounty pin and patch

The March 2016 Smugglers Bounty subscription box was themed around theMos Eisley Space port Cantina.

The box opens with a Star Wars collectors pin and a patch.  These are super cool, but I have no idea what to do with them.  How do you store the patches and pins to show them off.  I think they are so cool that I want to show them off, but I have no idea how to do that.  Any ideas?

Star Wars Smuggers Bounty Wanted T-shirt

Every box comes with a t-shirt.  This month's box had a black t-shirt with a wanted poster on it.  There were four different versions of this shirt sent out.  I received the Momaw Nadon wanted poster but I heard there was a Han Solo version which I would have LOVED.  But I can totally see this hanging in the wall of some Bounty Hunter's room who is hoping to get lucky and collect a big reward.  It's super cool to have the alien's stats and fingerprint to help make sure you get the right guy.

Star Wars Smuggers Bounty Chewbacca Pen

I think this pen is probably my favorite part of the box so far.  It has a little Chewbacca POP figurine on top of it which is so fun!  I admit, I'm using it now in my planner to support my favorite wookie.  The pen isn't really a high quality pen, but it works and it's fun to use.  I do love it.

Star Wars Smuggers Bounty exclusive POPs figurines

Every Smugglers bounty box contains two exclusive POPS figurines.  I've said before how much I LOVE these figures, but haven't found a reason to actually purchase them myself.  After the last few that I've received from subscription boxes, I admit, I've taken advantage of a few sales and purchased a few more.

So I was super excited to add these two characters to my collection.  I couldn't have been happier to get Ben Kenobi, since I had just purchased the older Han Solo figurine.  And the Red Snaggletooth will be super fun to add to my Star Wars book collection since he's not one I probably would have purchased on my own.
