April Reading Round Up

Here are a few of the books I was able to read in April in my month Reading Round up Recap.

Here we are in the start of May and it's fun to look back and see what I read this month and what books I purchased.  With a trip to Utah for SNAP conference, I didn't get as much time to read as I would have liked.  May isn't looking like it's going to be much better with the start of our move to South Carolina.  But here's hoping.

Books I Read This Month

I really enjoyed Dreamscape and Ruby Red.  I just heard that the Ruby Red book was made into a movie in Germany, so I'm going to try and find that.  The movie trailer previews are pretty awesome, so I'm hoping I'll be able to find it.

The Gatekeeper's Saga was a fun, quick read.  There are 3 more books in the series, but I'm happy to leave it off with Gatekeeper's Daughter for now.  That was a good ending for the most part.  I may get the rest of the series and listen to it as we drive cross country in June if all goes well.

Books I Bought This Month

I'm not sure if knowing that I won't have much time to read in the next few months has had an effect on which books I purchase, even when they are free, or what, but I didn't buy quite so many books in April.  Almost all of these are Kindle Ebooks.

I think the only "real" books that I purchased were from my Subscription Boxes this month.  I have at least one book that I want to buy in Hardback, but I haven't been able to get over to the bookstore and I let my Amazon Prime subscription slide this year, so I just haven't been able to buy it yet.  Maybe next month.
