It's a GAME CHANGER if you LOVE Audiobooks!

It's a GAME CHANGER! If you love audiobooks, you need to check this out and stock your library full of great reads that you can listen to while life gets too busy to sit down and enjoy.

Do you love audiobooks?

I do.  I love that I can listen to them while I work or clean house or take the kids to and from school and practices.  I don't have to stop my life just to be able to enjoy a book.  It makes "reading" so much more enjoyable and easy.

Maggie Dove: A Book Review

When Sunday School teacher Maggie Dove finds her hateful next-door neighbor Marcus Bender lying dead under her beloved oak tree—the one he demanded she cut down—she figures the man dropped dead of a mean heart. But Marcus was murdered, and the prime suspect is a young man Maggie loves like a son. Peter Nelson was the worst of Maggie’s Sunday School students; he was also her late daughter’s fiancé, and he’s been a devoted friend to Maggie in the years since her daughter’s death. Maggie can’t lose Peter, too. So she sets out to find the real murderer. To do that, she must move past the grief that has immobilized her all these years. She must probe the hidden corners of her little village on the Hudson River. And, when another death strikes even closer to home, Maggie must find the courage to defend the people and the town she loves—even if it kills her.

Never Miss Another Book from Your Favorite Series

I wanted to share this post from my other printable party blog because as a reader, it's a blog planner page that I use a lot.  Maybe I'm the only one who forgets all the series that I'm reading.  Maybe I'm the only one who reads a lot of different series at the same time.  I don't know.

But this planner page is super nice to have and use if you want to keep track of what you are reading and be sure not to miss the next book.

Remember to watch for your favorite book to come out with this book planner printable page. It's great for helping to remind you what book you are on after waiting that everlasting year for the next book to come out in your favorite series.

Game of Thrones Etsy Shopping Guide

Embrace your fandom with all kinds of fun from The Game of Thrones. You can cosplay, drink, wear, and laugh at all the fandom fun with t-shirts, jewelry, posters, glasses, clocks, and more.

Hold the door!

Have you read The Game of Thrones series yet?  I listened to the first book on audio, but Dear Hubby went on with the series without me.  Plus, we are watching the tv show, but I have a hard time with all the nudity and blood.  Probably not the best series for me to fan.  It's not really what I would choose to read myself, but the bare bones of the story are good, and I know a lot of others love it.

The Rest of Us Just Live Here: A Book Review

What if you aren’t the Chosen One? The one who's supposed to fight the zombies, or the soul-eating ghosts, or whatever the heck this new thing is, with the blue lights and the death? What if you're like Mikey? Who just wants to graduate and go to prom and maybe finally work up the courage to ask Henna out before someone goes and blows up the high school. Again. Because sometimes there are problems bigger than this week's end of the world, and sometimes you just have to find the extraordinary in your ordinary life. Even if your best friend is worshipped by mountain lions.

What are You Reading? Book Linky Party

I'm always on the lookout for a good book.  I know, I know.  I have a ton already in my Books I want to read list.  Maybe I need to find a support group for this.

Thanks to my Kindle, the space hasn't been a problem yet, so I'm still going and enjoying the hunt.

But it's hard to know if a book is as good as it looks from the description.  Sometimes it's great, other times I have a hard time getting through the first few chapters.  So I'm looking for your help.

Wondering What to Read Next 6.3.16

Looking for a good book to read next?  Here are six more that I've added to my Book I Want to Read list.  I haven't read all of them, so I can't vouch for the quality, but they look good from the book descriptions.  If you read them first, let me know if they are as good as they look.  There's a bit of angel, fantasy, mystery, magic, time travel and apocalyptic adventure in here.

May Reading Round Up

At the end of April, we found out we were moving to South Carolina.  Since that move is happening now, it was a crazy month.  We spent a week out house hunting and a week packing, boxing, cleaning, and generally losing our minds.

So there wasn't a lot of time to read this month.  I was able to listen to the second book in the Ruby Red series.  I started the third book, but with everything going on, I didn't get it finished before my digital copy expired from the library and now I have to wait to get back on the list to finish.

Dream Casters Light : A Book Review

Mr. Sandman, send me a dream, ta da da da..... Seventeen year old Chastity Blake knows the Sandman is just a silly children's story parents tell their children to get them to sleep. At least she thought it was, until the day a mysterious, light golden sand appeared in her hands during a high school prank that went horribly wrong. A sand that has the power to send anyone it touches into a deep, sound sleep. Fearing she had lost her mind, Chastity soon discovers the shocking truth of her heritage- she is a Dream Caster. Chastity was never supposed to be raised on the Domain, or what humans call Earth and she is forced to return to her true birth place, Revera – the world of Dreams. However, in Revera there is no balance between good, the Light Casters, and darkness, the Shadow Casters, and Chastity is caught square in the middle. She soon learns that there is no place for anyone containing both the light and the darkness within them, and the shocking truth that if anyone in Revera ever discovered her shadow self, Chastity would be thrown into the Oblivion – the world of Nightmares. Dreams are always more than they seem, and this time Chastity is going to discover just how different they can be.
